We stayed one night before our daughter skied the Birkie Kortelopet. The room, lobby, hallways, reception were all clean and nicely kept. Breakfast was in a bright room off the main lobby. It included a selection of hot and cold items. Everything was tidy and sanitary. The bed and pillows were comfy. Most of all we appreciated how well everything was maintained and the cleanliness. Staff was friendly too. 🙂

Breakfast was very good. Lots of variety hot food as well as cereal, yogurt, juice and coffees with several choices of flavorings. View was Lake Superior. We were able to watch 4th of July fireworks across the water. At our request they were able to get our rooms together. Room was handicapped accessible. King bed in separate room, small kitchen, refrigerator, dishwasher. In the middle of town with easy access to parking lot.

Nice quiet location, off main highway. Shops and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast area had lots of windows with a beautiful corner view of neighboring buildings and the lake. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lobby seating was cozy and comfortable.

We've stayed here in the past and again it was a great stay. The staff that we did have contact with were friendly and helpful, check in was quick! We had a great room with a nice lake view. The location was perfect for our trip, great access to restaurants and shopping.

I appreciated how clean and comfortable the place was. Staff was friendly. I couldn’t give it the top rating because although the location was convenient, it wasn’t exceptional-on a lake or. With a fabulous view, near great restaurants, etc. The price was high, but quality was appreciated.

The property was clean and well-maintained. The rooms felt comfortable and fresh, and the snow was cleared quickly from the entrance and parking lot.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel. One thing to note: their website says that they welcome dogs, but their weight limit is actually 40 lbs. There was a 25 dollar fee. The room was large, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and it is centrally located in Ashland. I liked it and I would probably stay there again.
